πΆ♀️πΆ♂️πΆ♀️πΆ♂️Walking the Wheel: A Personal Guide to Planets, Points, and Power
How I read charts through wounds, shadows, and thresholds — and how you can feel them in your own life.
Introduction
When I sit down with a chart, I don’t just see symbols on a wheel — I see a story waiting to be told. Every planet, every point, every asteroid is a voice in that story, carrying its own wisdom, shadow, and lesson.
Some astrologers stop at the “big three” — Sun, Moon, and Rising. I go further. I trace the math points, the shadows, the wounds, the fortune, and the thresholds. Because to me, a chart isn’t just about who you are — it’s about how you grow, where you get stuck, Me too and how you integrate.
In this guide, we’ll walk the wheel point by point. I’ve included a sample chart (with no name attached) so you can follow along visually if you like. Think of it as a map — not the destination, but a wa So let’s take a walk through the astrological neighborhood neighborhood that I was born int
The technical signature (what this point is in astrology).
- The archetypal signature (the mythic, symbolic, soulful story it carries).
- The everyday feel (how you can notice this energy alive in your own life).
This is how I read charts in my practice: not prediction, but revision. I don’t believe the stars command. They incline. They resonate. They reveal the story you’re living so you can choose how to live it more consciously.
Ive added my own chart below so follow me on a walk around the wheel with me. My natal is on inside, and transits of Sept 23 are on the outside this is how you can better understand where I was born as far as my astrological placements and why, and where they are now, even though this was a couple days Tuesday it’s still showing you how the planets move around the houses and how the energy changes from house the house. So let’s take a walk through the astrological neighborhood of Christie Rhuems-Kotzman. Think of my natal chart as an inner wheel representing my hometown, and the transits as the outer wheel showing my current subdivision and all the activity happening within it.

- Archetypal: Linked to Artemis and Selene, she represents the inner child and the mother, the ebb and flow of tides and moods.

Conclusion
By now you’ve met the luminaries, planets, asteroids, and points that weave a chart into a living story. Some act like spotlights (Sun, MC), some like mirrors (Moon, Descendant), others like thresholds (Nodes, Lilith, Aries Point). Each one is a hinge in the architecture of your life.
The chart is not fate carved in stone. It’s a map of resonance. It shows tides, shadows, and treasure — but you’re the one who walks the path.
When I read for someone, I don’t just name symbols. I ask: How is this alive in you right now? Where are you stuck? Where are you ready to break through? That’s the power of astrology — not prediction, but revision. A practice of reclaiming agency in the cosmic dance.
So when you read your own chart, don’t just memorize. Feel. Apply. Let the symbols speak through your daily life. Remember: you’re not at the mercy of these points. You’re in relationship with them.
