HONORING A TRUE COSMIC GUIDE: RICK LEVINE, INTERNATIONAL ASTROLOGER OF THE YEAR, AND MY VERY DEAR TEACHER
Since March 2020, I’ve had the profound joy and privilege of learning from Rick Levine. To say it has been life-changing would be an understatement. Rick is more than an astrologer—he’s a cosmic visionary, a gifted teacher, and a truly generous soul whose wisdom continues to shape my life.
His influence has been paramount in my journey. Through his guidance, I’ve not only learned how to interpret and understand the vast depths of astrology, but I’ve also discovered how to live it—how to bring it into everyday conversations, real relationships, and my own inner world.
Rick’s approach is clear, grounded, and incredibly inspiring. Backed by decades of study and experience, his teachings are infused with passion, integrity, and a deep desire to make astrology accessible and meaningful for everyone.
Whether it’s through his monthly forecasts, his YouTube channel, his Patreon community, or the Zoom masterclasses I’m so grateful to attend, Rick constantly shares his knowledge freely and generously. No matter where you are in the world, if you're willing to learn, Rick is willing to teach.
What makes Rick truly special is his mission:
To help people better understand themselves and each other through the lens of astrology—and, in doing so, to leave the world a little better than how he found it.
That is exactly what he does—day after day, chart by chart, class by class. He embodies the heart of a teacher, and the soul of a guide.
To name Rick Levine as International Astrologer of the Year isn’t just well-deserved—it’s essential. His impact reaches far beyond astrology. He empowers people to grow, to question, to connect, and to believe in their own capacity to make a difference.
He is the one I quote when I say:
“Think cosmically, act locally.”
And because of him, I do.
Thank you, Rick—for being my teacher, my inspiration, and a guiding light in the cosmic conversation.
Below you will find Rick's June Forecast for the month! TESTING THE LIMITS “Once we accept our limits, we go beyond them.” —Albert Einstein
We have assuredly entered into fresh new territory, a land with unfamiliar rules and evolving vistas. The stress between Jupiter, the planet of expansion, and Saturn, the planet of contraction, reaches a crescendo on June 15 when they form a perfect square for the third-and-final time since August 19, 2024. This dynamic engagement reveals the conflicts that are created by changes that are either too rapid or not fast enough. We are required to examine the progress made since the Jupiter-Saturn conjunction in December 2020, while looking forward to the potential of their full expression at the opposition in 2030. Standing on its own, this mid-month square between these cosmic regulators would be sufficient to establish a theme for June but it is only part of a more significant process that is currently unfolding. Imaginative Neptune entered Aries at the end of March, followed by relentless Saturn at the end of May, opening a portal into a brave new world. Saturn closes in on Neptune throughout June, coming within one-third of a degree by the end of the month. Both planets begin their retrograde period in July, preventing the actual conjunction from perfecting until February 20, 2026. Nevertheless, we are in the first throes of a rare transformational phase for the next couple of months where anything can happen. However, it's impossible to know whether Neptune will dissolve the illusion of Saturn's reality, which enables our dreams to come true, or if authoritative Saturn will define the potential of Neptune's vision, thereby impeding progress. The deciding factor in this battle between stability and possibility is the extent to which we allow fear to restrict our dreams. And although the Jupiter-Saturn square on June 15 is a critical intersection, it's followed by buoyant Jupiter's square to boundless Neptune on June 18, suggesting that there are infinite possibilities for what the imagination can do. In fact, each planet that aspects Saturn this month leads to its aspect to Neptune, reinforcing the repeating lessons we learn when we confront limits and then make the effort to surpass them. There are many twists and turns ahead as planets continue to change signs throughout the month. Earthy pragmatism is unavoidable once Venus slips into her home sign of sensible Taurus on June 5, followed by Mars entering logical Virgo on June 17. Meanwhile, our emotions gain strength when communicator Mercury and giant Jupiter enter watery Cancer on June 8 and June 9, respectively. The Sun's shift into Cancer on June 20 at 7:42 pm PDT, signifying the Summer Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere, sheds a new light on the realm of feelings. Counterbalancing this potential passivity, Mercury's entrance into fiery Leo on June 26 encourages the use of dramatic words that can bring a new wave of activism. The Sagittarius Full Moon on June 11 at 12:43 am PDT is sesquisquare Venus, suggesting that our lofty ideas could create anxiety for Venus in down-to-earth Taurus. Thankfully, Mars forms a trine with Eris and Chiron on June 9-10, empowering us to break through our fears and push toward solutions that bring about profound healing. The Cancer New Moon on June 25 at 3:31 am PDT is a celebration of nurturing love. Its conjunction with benevolent Jupiter encourages us to protect and care for our families, homes, and homeland. However, its awkward quincunx to Pluto in Aquarius prompts feelings of alienation from the broader community of social and national power dynamics. Although creating a domestic safe haven is admirable, it is unwise to deny the involvement of global politics in our individual lives. Ultimately, staying aware of external forces is an integral part of an intelligent strategy to enhance the quality of our daily lives. The process of waking up from our dreams improves our chances to proactively co-create our future. “While the world of reality has its limits, the world of your imagination is without boundaries.” —Wayne Dyer
